Hi I’m Matt.

I’ve been taking photos for several years now and loving every minute of it — every shoot has something different to offer.

​

As a father of two young children I’ve had plenty of practice and I love photographing children, there’s something really special about their ability to wear their heart on their sleeve allowing me to capture truly special natural family moments.

​

On a shoot I like to quickly read the vibe and adapt my techniques to suit the family, it can be fun and quirky or calm and intimate, it really depends on what makes you feel most comfortable in order to get the best shots. An optional intro meet up or call can also help us to warm to each other before the session too!

​

I don’t shoot in a studio, it’s difficult for families to be natural. Instead we can head out for an adventure to your favourite place (I have plenty of favourites I can suggest) or I can come to your home, where your little wildlings are in their natural habitat.

​

Before the shoot I’ll get to know you, and send you some tips and guides for clothing, props and styling for the shoot. It makes all the difference.

​
